So today I didn't really eat as much as normal. Not sure why but just wasn't that hungry. I had a big interview at 1:00 and so I kept the morning fare very light and by the time I realized it was almost time to go I realized I had not really eaten so I had two slices of cheese. Yes I do realize that is not the best "clean" breakfast but I am still eating cheese despite Jillian Michael's leaving off her cheese.
Not a lot of it mind you but a slice here and there. That cheese held me over until the interview was done and I could actually concentrate on what I really needed to do.
I then had soup and salad and water post interview and stayed very close to my food rules.
I shopped for a few fresh foods (banana's and yogurt is what I went for0 but ended up getting some Quinoa to try and some frozen edamame. It always happened that way. I was mesmerized by the section of organic and gluten free foods. I am sure there is a trip to Whole Foods and or Trader Joes' in my future now that I am eating better. Right now I just have to focus on getting into the routine and staying in the routine.
I am almost to the five pound mark and delighted with that progress.
